About us
Met Zonder Jas is a small-scale daycare center in Arnhem for children from 4 months up to 4 years.
We are located in the middle of nature where we work with sincere attention and conscious education.
Because of the small groups (up to 6 children we have time and attention for every child.
Our employees are professionals. They look with an open mind, know which stage of development a child is in and educate consciously.
Our daycare is located on the grounds of the beautiful Arnhems Buiten Campus in the middle of nature.
There is no better place imaginable to teach children how to treat nature with respect.
We look at the little critters and know that each critter has its own task.
We marvel at the colors of the flowers, the colors of the trees and the soft grass.
We experience the seasons by splashing and stamping in the rain, with red cheeks and warm coats we feel the cold and the wind on our cheeks and in our hair.
Practical information
We are open from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm For the peace and rhythm of the day, the children are dropped off before 9.00 am and picked up from 5.00 pm.
The minimum purchase of the number of hours is 8 hours per day. We are open 51 weeks a year except for holidays (see below).
Our staff work full days, which means that your child has one familiar face throughout the day. This allows your child to learn to bond and build a bond that makes your child feel safe and secure.
Because both you and your child deal with one trusted colleague per day, the lines of communication are short and clear.
Meals
We are aware of the importance of healthy food. We use local, organic and always vegetarian products as much as possible.
We eat together in the group so that children have the opportunity to discover new tastes and textures, develop healthy eating habits and learn how fun it can be to eat together.
All snacks, fruit and drinks are included in the price (except for any diet products).
* In the near future we expect to be able to offer a hot, organic, vegetarian meal at a surcharge.
Sleep
At our daycare, the children sleep outside in professional children-outdoor beds.
Under the trees with a view from the house, they sleep in nature with the soothing sounds of the wind, the rain and the birds.
Bad weather does not exist, bad clothing does. A good sleeping bag is therefore important. We can advise you in this.
Holidays and Christmas closure
Daycare Center Met Zonder Jas is closed on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Easter Monday, King’s Day, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Christmas and Boxing Day. In addition, we are closed from Christmas until New Year’s day.
Costs and surcharges
The costs of childcare at Met Zonder Jas are €11.59 (*) per hour with a minimum purchase of 8 hours per day. All snacks, fruit and drinks and trips are included in the price.

You may be entitled to supplementary child benefit from the Dutch Government.
